Worship Choir

The Worship Choir of First Baptist Church is an exciting place to be. The Worship Choir sings a couple times a month as the Special just before the message. The Worship Choir sings a variety of music from Contemporary to Southern Gospel to traditional hymns. The Worship Choir is like a family within a family. They enjoy worshiping through the music as they praise the one true Holy God.

The Worship Choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:15pm for practice in the Choir Room. There is a place for everyone. Come join us as we praise God together.

Worship Team

Our Worship Team helps lead our congregation in singing during our Morning Worship Services for a Call to Worship as well as several other hymns and choruses. Please come join in! They practice on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am in the Sanctuary.

Won by One Praise Team

In 2010, God laid on the heart of Linda Mayo, the church pianist, to start a smaller music group. Therefore, Won by One was born. This praise team was formed for younger adults and for adults that were unable to make it to regular choir practice during the week. Linda feels that the praise team is just another tool to worship and bring others to worship through music.

Won by One meets on Sunday mornings at 8:45 am in the Choir Room upstairs. The praise team sings different styles of music from Contemporary, Gospel, and Traditional. Please come and join us, we would love to have you!

Children’s Choir

Children from the age of 3 years to 5th Grade can sing in the Children’s Choir. The Children’s Choir meets on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm in the Choir Room before Wednesday Night Supper and other various activities. The Children’s Choir has several performances throughout the school year.
