Food Box Ministry
The Food Box Ministry takes place on the third Thursday of every month at the church from 1:30–2:30 pm. It is an outreach for individuals in our community to provide them with supplemental food products; however, we not only provide them food for their bodies, but also food to nourish their souls.
Our ministry offers each person who enters our church doors the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus and His plan of Salvation. Individuals who return more than once hear a short inspirational message.
Our volunteers strive to demonstrate God’s love through smiles, warm hugs, listening ears, encouraging words and prayers.
The ministry is Scripture based:
“It is written, man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
